Ancala recently acquired a nationwide portfolio of 300 telecommunications towers in Ireland from Phoenix Tower International (PTI).
Ancala has acquired an additional 47.1 percent share in Liverpool John Lennon Airport from The Peel Group, becoming the majority shareholder with a 94.2 percent holding. Liverpool City Council retains its 5.8 percent interest in the airport.

Cordiant Capital has locked in more than €200 million ($233 million) in a first closing of its Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Equity Fund (Cordiant Digital II).
Glentra Capital has successfully completed the final close of its debut fund, Glentra Fund I, with total commitments of €565 million ($662 million) and an additional €230 million ($269 million) allocated for co-investments. The infrastructure fund has institutional investors from the Nordics, United Kingdom, United States and Canada.
ICG - Global alternative asset manager has completed the final close of its second European Infrastructure fund, ICG Infrastructure Fund II (ICG Infra II), raising €3.15 billion ($3.7 billion) of commitments.

Cube Infrastructure Managers (Cube IM) appoint Julie Bonamy Racine as partner, head of France. Racine brings 15 years of experience across both public and private sectors. She joins Cube IM from Saint-Gobain, a French manufacturing company, where she served as CEO of Saint-Gobain Canada; CEO of Saint-Gobain Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore; and vice president of strategy and a member of the group executive committee in Paris.
InfraRed Capital Partners has appointed Oliver Meier as managing director within its Capital Formation team to lead the firm’s recently opened office in Frankfurt, Germany, starting Nov. 1. Meier joins InfraRed from Selinus Capital Advisors, where he served as head of alternative investments sales. In this role, he led the distribution team responsible for infrastructure, private equity and natural resources throughout the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). He managed capital raising for a wide range of infrastructure investments, including sector-specific and diversified fund strategies, as well as co-investments and direct investments.
Nuveen has appointed Costas Papamantellos serve as head of energy-transition investments in London, reporting to Joost Bergsma, global head of clean energy. Papamantellos previously served as managing director and head of RWE’s energy-transition investments captive fund, where he led the investment platform since 2017 with teams based in London and New York City. Under his leadership, the investment vehicle deployed capital across Europe and North America in renewables development platforms, biomethane, distributed power generation, onshore wind repowering and energy storage solutions.
